We can move on to the second scary part of getting family photos.
Number 2- WILL MY CHILD(REN) cooperate ?!?!
For sure- this might seem like a legitimate concern! Will my sweet pea of a 10 month old be too tired and fuss the entire time? Will the entire session be a complete disaster because my super strong-willed, hate to do anything I want them to do toddler will ----- I don't know continue to be super strong-willed and refuse to do anything I want them to. Ha! Mama! Papa! Auntie! Grandma ! Whoever is reading this, if this is you and you're concerned, I'm here to tell you to FORGET ABOUT IT. Don't even bat an eye, don't fret for one more second.
I don't want you to fret or think about it twice, because plain and simple IT DOES NOT MATTER. Repeat after me- it. does. not matter. Part of my job is to work with whatever personalities are directly in front of me and to create magic, to create images you can look back on and literally feel. Now please don't decide to skip naps on beach family photo day or show up with hungry children. Haha! Do waht you normally do and then forget about it. Part of the beauty of my approach at capturing raw/ authentic moments is that it leaves room for your kids to be kids. Meltdowns, fuss and all of the mess, I promise we will still be able to capture heartfelt moment and beautiful images.
